Hiii to almost 10K new faces on here!! 👋🏼 I posted a short vid just a few days ago of a song I wrote and it’s so cool to see how that small snippet has been connecting with you guys!! Thought I’d re introduce myself 🫶🏼 Let’s dive innn ✨ My names Rachael & I’m from a small town called New Castle, Pennsylvania. I lived rly close to a big Amish community (they have the best baked goods 🍰) ✨I moved to Nashville by myself when I was 18 for school & music (went to trevecca ) ✨ I could eat sweet potatoes ANYTIME of the week prepared anyway, bc they truly are the best 🍠 ✨ If you put a movie on, I will most likely fall asleep 😴 lol (my friends can attest to this) I’m just not a tv/movie kinda gal unless it’s an interesting documentary ✨ I recently started getting into gardening bc it makes me happy 👩‍🌾 ✨ I have a sweet rescue kitten named Bleu I found on the side on the road in October and he’s been a light in my life ✨I almost went back to school to become a therapist in 2020 when I was feeling discouraged with music, but ended up getting offered a songwriting deal right before the program was starting (was a sign to me to keep going w/ music 🎶 ) ✨I’m a huge tea lover, especially matcha 🍵 ✨ I’m a free spirit adventurer and love seeing new places and trying new things 🌎 ✨ My community means the world to me & I see my close ppl pretty much every weekend 💛 ✨ Catch me out dancing in the rain whenever it comes!!☔️ ✨I have a passion for mental health and helping de stigmatize it within the church, Christian circles, and on here 🙌 ✨ I’ve recently been dealing with situational anxiety and grief 🙃 fun timez, but we’re doing our best and know it can’t last forever (thank God for therapy) If you’ve made down here 😅 hi, love u. Today’s gratefuls… 1. Wildflowers still hanging on for a bit longer. This mixture of wild daisies, cat mint, hydrangea leaves and nandina leaves, it just feels so happy🥰 2. A day with my dear friend Mitsi cultivated_farmhouse antiquing in Columbia…I’ve never been and it was just the cutest little square that took my back in time. And time with a dear friend, eating yummy food in between finding fun vintage goodies, well that is always a big grateful and getting out was just what this momma needed❤️ 3. Some of the cute finds…vintage stool and chair (or course😉), a sweet plate and garden tool, and I must say I’m quite proud only one tiny basket. There is usually more🙈 Oh and that adorable vintage wooden masher with the perfect patina that I added to my pot rail, looks like it was just meant to be there❤️ 4. The last pic, one of the now antique stores that was the actual post office until 1959. It was so cute and I had to take a picture to show my dad who worked at the post office for many years❤️ 5. My mom-in-law for staying with a Magpie and my Emme for taking Rayley to an appointment, goodness friends it always takes a village and I’m so very grateful for my village❤️ What are some of your gratefuls this Friday Eve sweet friends?❤️❤️❤️

☀️ Whenever I look at an empty caption box of a post, I get so tempted to write about every single opinion, value or passion that soars inside of me. But today I’m reflecting on how funny of a thing it is to share a thought. The motivation for wanting to share, the actual consequence of sharing.. When I was in high school, the angst in me had me sitting silently blasting opinions in my head never to be uttered on my lips, but as I’ve aged I share openly and freely, unfiltered and blankly. Witness of existence? Connection? Sense of self worth? Passing time? It’s a lovely thing to dive into an idea to it’s bare and feeble source.
